Subject: Welcome to the CEPM Graduate Program at UT Austin

Congratulations! I am pleased to inform you that you have been recommended for admission to the Construction Engineering and Project Management graduate program in the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. You should receive official notification from the Admissions Office within the next few weeks.

Registration for new fall 2009 students takes place on August 20-21, and classes begin on August 26. All full-time graduate students in the Cockrell School of Engineering are required to register for at least 9 hours each regular semester (fall and spring). Course selection will be made after your consultation with an advisor in the CEPM area. As you may know, we have a large and diverse program, allowing you to choose from a wide variety of topics covered at great depth. We hope you find this combination attractive and decide to join us in the fall. Please be advised that the CEPM faculty recommend you have a notebook computer for the duration of your studies here.

We understand that choosing a graduate program is a very difficult task, so please consider all of your options carefully before making your final decision. Please let us know whether or not you intend to enroll in our program this fall as soon as you reach your decision. An email notification to me or the graduate coordinator will be fine.
